1 Scope

This standard defines the terms and definitions of combustion methods.

This standard applies to the description and classification of combustion methods, and is applicable to standard setting, technical documentation, textbooks and books.

Document translation, etc.

2 basic terms

2.1 Air-fuel ratio

The ratio of air quality to fuel quality in a mixture.

2.2 Fuel-air ratio

The ratio of fuel mass to air quality in the mixture.

Note. For aero engines, it is also known as the oil and gas ratio.

2.3 Chemical equivalent

The mass ratio of air to fuel when the fuel and air theory is completely burned.

2.4 Equivalent ratio

The ratio of the actual fuel-to-air ratio at the time of fuel combustion to the stoichiometric fuel-to-air ratio.

2.5 Excess air coefficient

The ratio of the actual air-fuel ratio at the time of fuel combustion to the stoichiometric air-fuel ratio.

2.6 Roasting

Heating materials, such as ores, without melting, to alter the chemical composition or physical properties of oxidation, pyrolysis, reduction, and halogenation.

Should be the process.

Note. It is usually used in the inorganic chemical industry and metallurgical industry. The roasting process has two types. additive and no additive.

2.7 Calcination

Roasting without additives.

Note. If the ore is decomposed, limestone is calcined to produce calcium oxide, and the kaolin is calcined and dehydrated to make the structure loose and porous; calcination to remove impurities; calcination and oxidation

Titanium changes the crystal form.

2.8 Incineration

A method of reducing and harmless waste by burning.
