1 Scope

This standard gives basic guidance for project, program and portfolio management, and is related to public institutions and private companies.

What type and size of organization or industry.

This standard applies to the specific environment of project portfolio management and does not provide for project management, program management or general business project portfolio.

Specific guidance on management (eg financial portfolio management).

2 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document. For the convenience of reading, the following "project, program group and project portfolio" is referred to as "project portfolio".
