Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".

This document replaces GB/T 37453-2019 "Ships and Marine Technology - Vertical Roller Guides for Mooring and Towing of Ships".

Compared with GB/T 37453-2019, apart from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

a) The definition of the term "safe workload" has been changed (see 3.1, 2019 version 3.1);

b) The body weld protrusion dimension "t2/4" has been added (see Figure 1).

This document is equivalent to ISO 13776:2020 "Ships and marine technology - Mooring and towing equipment for ships - Vertical roller guides".

1 Scope

This document specifies the nominal dimensions, dimensions, materials, manufacturing and inspection requirements, and marking requirements for vertical roller guides used for ship guides.
