Scope

GB/T 37399-2019 is the English-translated version of 高压岸电试验方法.

GB/T 37399-2019 is the Chinese national standard for testing a high voltage shore connection system once it is installed on board a ship. It sets the conditions, the contents, the methods and the requirements of the mooring test, and applies to shipborne systems with a rated voltage above 1 kV and up to 15 kV.

It defines the system and its parts: the shore connection switchboard, the high voltage transformer, the on-board receiving switchboard on the secondary side of that transformer, and the cable management system that pays out, recovers and protects the flexible shore power cable.

Rated voltage is expressed as Uo/U(Um) in kV. Installation work is referred to CB/T 3908 and CB/T 3909, and the system itself to IEC 60092-503. It was issued on 10 May 2019 and has applied since 1 December 2019.

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the conditions, contents, methods and requirements for the mooring test of the shipboard high voltage shore power system.

This standard is applicable to the test of shipboard high voltage shore power systems with rated voltages above 1kV and 15kV and below.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Shipborne high voltage shore power system

A system installed on a ship for connecting shore power during port landing.

Note: Generally include high voltage shore power box, high voltage transformer, shore power access control board, cable management system, etc.

3.2 Cable management system

Control, monitor and process all equipment for high voltage flexible control cables and their connections.

Note: Generally, it consists of cable winch, shore power cable, plug, cable control system, etc., to realize the retracting and disengagement control and safety protection of shore power cables.

3.3 Rated voltage

Uo/U(Um): the normal voltage of the power system or equipment.

Note: Uo is the rated voltage between the cable conductor and the ground or metal shield, U is the rated voltage between the cable conductors, Um is the maximum value of the highest system voltage. The unit is kV.

3.4 High voltage shore box

High voltage switchgear for connecting shore power high voltage cables and high voltage transformers.

Note: Connect the circuit breaker and various instruments, indications and alarm devices in the high-voltage shore power box, generally as close as possible to the ship's shore power cable connection.

3.5 Shore power access control board

The control panel for receiving the shore power supply on the secondary side of the high voltage transformer is generally used as an integral part of the main switchboard.
