Introduction

GB/T 37364 aims to establish basic methods for surveying terrestrial wildlife and their habitats.

GB/T 37364 is intended to consist of 9 parts.

— Part 1: Guidelines. The purpose is to provide basic terminology and general requirements for surveys of terrestrial wildlife and their habitats.

— Part 2: Survey zoning. The purpose is to provide a zoning scheme for surveying terrestrial wildlife and their habitats and the names of each unit. Name, code and scope.

— Part 3: Mammals. The purpose is to provide basic methods for mammal investigation.

— Part 4: Birds. The purpose is to provide the basic methods for bird surveys.

— Part 5: Reptiles. The purpose is to provide basic methods for surveying reptiles.

— Part 6: Amphibians. The purpose is to provide basic methods for amphibian surveys.

— Part 7: Insects. The purpose is to provide basic methods for insect surveys.

— Part 8: Invertebrates (other than insects). The purpose is to provide basic methods for investigating invertebrates (other than insects).

— Part 9: Survey on artificial breeding and utilization. The purpose is to provide basic methods for surveying artificial breeding and utilization of wild animals.

Technical regulations for survey of terrestrial wildlife and their habitats Part 2: Survey Division

1 Scope

This document stipulates the zoning plan for the survey of terrestrial wildlife and their habitats, the unit codes, the ecological characteristics of each survey unit, Meta boundaries and ranges.

This document is applicable to national terrestrial wildlife and their habitat surveys, regional or provincial terrestrial wildlife and their habitat surveys. Use as directed.

3 Terms and definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 37364.1 and the following apply to this document.

3.1 eco-geographicalunit

A geographical space where the composition of terrestrial wildlife fauna, habitat conditions and environmental elements are basically similar.

3.2 Survey unit survey unit

The composition, habitat conditions and environmental factors of terrestrial wildlife fauna are basically similar, and are divided according to provincial administrative boundaries. Geospatial.

3.3 Zoning

The purpose of the survey is to investigate the terrestrial wildlife resources and systematically investigate the terrestrial wildlife resources according to the composition of the terrestrial wildlife fauna, habitat conditions and environmental characteristics of various regions.

4.1 Hierarchy
