GB/T 37250-2018 is the Chinese national test method for measuring how quickly the functional ceramic element of an oxygen sensor responds to a change in the gas around it.
The response time is defined as the time the sensor output takes to move from 300 mV to 600 mV and back when the gas flow changes, reflecting the lag between a change in the air-fuel ratio and the change in electromotive force.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, principles, equipment, test equipment, specimens and tests for functional ceramic response time tests for oxygen sensors. Gas, test procedures and test reports, etc.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Response time
Oxygen sensor output voltage from 300mV to 600mV and from 600mV to a given gas flow rate and flow rate The time required for the 300mV change.
4 Principle
When the fuel burns, as the air-fuel ratio changes, the oxygen concentration also changes, resulting in 0mV~ on the chip oxygen sensor. The electromotive force varies between 1000 mV.
