This standard has more structural adjustments than ISO 17396.2014. This standard and ISO 17396.2014 are listed in Appendix A.

3 models and markings

3.1 Model

The pitch of the AT type trapezoidal tooth synchronous belt can be divided into four types. AT3, AT5, AT10 and AT20; according to the distribution of the teeth, it can be divided.

Single-sided and double-sided toothed timing belts.

Single-faced timing belt. refers to a timing belt with teeth on one side.

Double-sided toothed timing belt. refers to a double-sided toothed timing belt. According to the relative position of the teeth, they are further divided into symmetric teeth and staggered teeth. Symmetrical teeth are synchronized on both sides.

The belt form code is DA, and the staggered tooth double-sided timing belt is coded as DB.

3.2 mark

The mark of the tape consists of the length of the pitch, the model, and the bandwidth. For double-sided toothed belts, the letter DA or DB should be added before the length of the line.

The open sync band adds the letter M after the bandwidth. Connect the ring timing belt and add the letter V after the bandwidth.

Example. single face toothed belt, 500-AT5-20;

Double-sided toothed timing belt, DA-1320-AT10-50;

Open timing belt, 5000-AT10-50-M;

Connect the ring timing belt, 1400-AT10-50-V.
