Foreword

GB/T 37194 "Plastic polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) molding and extrusion materials" is divided into two parts.

--- Part 1. The naming system and classification basis;

--- Part 2. Sample preparation and performance determination.

This part is the first part of GB/T 37194.

This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This section uses the translation method equivalent to ISO 28078-1.2009 "Plastic polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) molding and extrusion materials Part 1

Points. Naming System and Classification Foundation.

The documents of our country that have a consistent correspondence with the international documents referenced in this part are as follows.

1 Scope

1.1 This part of GB/T 37194 specifies the naming system for the classification of thermoplastic polyphenylene sulfide materials.

1.2 Different types of polyphenylene sulfide plastics are based on the values of the characteristic properties specified below and the specific uses and/or processing methods, important properties, Tim

Additives based on additives, colorants, fillers, and reinforcement-based classification systems.

a) melt mass flow rate or melt viscosity;

b) density;

c) tensile modulus.

1.3 This part of GB/T 37194 applies to all PPS materials.

It is suitable for powder, granule or pellets, unmodified or modified by colorants, additives, fillers and reinforcing materials.

material.

1.4 Materials with the same name do not necessarily have the same performance. This section does not provide engineering data, performance data or specified materials.

Data on the specific conditions of use and/or processing conditions required by the processing method.

These additional properties can be determined as required by the test method specified in ISO 28078-2.

1.5 In order to illustrate the special use of a thermoplastic material or to ensure the reproducibility of processing, additional requirements can be given using character group 5 (see

3.1).
