Scope
GB/T 37143-2018 is the English-translated version of 电工电子产品成熟度试验方法.
GB/T 37143-2018 gives a test method for measuring how mature an electrical or electronic product is, meaning how close its design and production come to the expected goals.
It explains how to find the weak links and the stresses the product is sensitive to, and how to choose the excitation stress.
It then describes the test equipment and the tests themselves: temperature distribution and low and high temperature step stress, vibration step stress and combined environmental stress cycles, followed by the handling of failures found during testing.
A final chapter evaluates maturity through a stress-resistance component and a production-capability component, and lists what the test report must contain. It defines terms such as design limit, design margin and operating limit. The standard was issued on 28 December 2018 and has applied since 1 July 2019.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Product maturity
A measure of product maturity that is used to measure product design, quality, technical completeness, and applicability to meet product expectations. The extent of the goal.
3.2 Technical specification limit
The stress limit value expected by the product specified by the product technical specification, the product is functioning normally within the stress limit value, and the performance parameter Meet the requirements.
3.3 Design limit
The stress limit values that a given product is designed to meet.
3.4 Design margin
In order to meet the requirements of technical specifications during the design process, the discreteness of the product is considered in consideration of various factors, so that the stress tolerance range of the product is suitable. When the amount is higher than the technical specifications. Expressed as the difference between the design limits and the limits of the specification.
3.5 Operating limit
When the working characteristics of the test sample no longer meet the requirements of the technical conditions, but the test stress strength is reduced, the test sample can still return to normal. The value of the test stress intensity tolerated when operating characteristics.
3.6 Operating margin
The difference between the working limit of the product and the design limit.
