1 Scope

This standard specifies the design, dimensions and technical requirements for closed cable guides for ship rope mooring and towing.

This standard applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of closed cable guide holes.

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Safe working load safeworkingload; SWL

The maximum load that a mooring line is allowed to withstand under normal operating conditions, in kilohertz (kN).
