Scope
GB/T 36628.3-2019 is the English-translated version of 信息技术 系统间远程通信和信息交换 可见光通信 第3部分:高速可见光通信媒体访问控制和物理层规范.
GB/T 36628.3-2019 is the third part of GB/T 36628 and specifies the physical layer and the media access control layer for high-speed visible light communication based on optically transparent media.
Clause 1 states that it defines the PHY of transceivers communicating in the wavelength range of 380 nm to 780 nm or in the infrared band of 780 nm to 10000 nm, together with the MAC layer functional requirements and the security requirements, and that it applies to the design and development of the PHY and MAC layers of high-speed visible light communication.
Clause 2 cites GB/T 36628.1-2018, from which clause 3 also takes its terms; the entries printed there are the beacon, which the coordinator sends to keep synchronization with connected devices, describe the superframe structure and deliver other LiPAN management information, and the compensation symbol, a pulse modulation symbol added for energy compensation during brightness adjustment, and they are followed by the list of abbreviations.
Clause 4 gives the overall description, with network topology, VLC and RF heterogeneous networks, full duplex transmission, architecture, address and logo, support for dimming and flicker avoidance, the data transfer model and security.
Clause 5 holds the PHY requirements, covering operating mode, general requirements, light brightness adjustment, flashing slowdown, the PPDU format, the PHY service specification, PHY enumeration and description, PHY constants and PIB attributes, and the two modes PHYI and PHYII.
Clause 6 covers the MAC layer protocol with the MAC function description, the MAC frame format and the MAC command frame format, clause 7 covers the MAC layer service with the MAC data service, the MAC management service and the MAC constants and MIB attributes, and clause 8 covers encryption and authentication and key management.
The foreword says that GB/T 36628 is published in four parts, that this part is proposed and managed by the National Information Technology Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC28), and that some of its contents may involve patents, which the issuing organization does not undertake to identify. It was issued on August 30, 2019 and has applied since March 1, 2020.

Foreword
GB/T 36628 "Telecom Communication between Information Technology Systems for Remote Communication and Information Exchange" currently publishes the following sections.
--- Part 1. Media access control and physical layer overall requirements;
--- Part 2. Low-speed narrowband visible light communication media access control and physical layer specifications;
--- Part 3. High-speed visible light communication media access control and physical layer specifications;
--- Part 4. Indoor Positioning Transmission Protocol.
This part is the third part of GB/T 36628.
This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
Please note that some of the contents of this document may involve patents. The issuing organization of this document is not responsible for identifying these patents.
This part is proposed and managed by the National Information Technology Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC28).
1 Scope
This part of GB/T 36628 specifies the PHY and MAC layer specifications for high-speed visible light communication based on optically transparent media.
The PHY of the transceiver communicating in the wavelength range of 380 nm to 780 nm or the infrared band of 780 nm to 10000 nm The MAC layer functional requirements and security requirements are defined.
This section applies to the design and development of high-speed visible light communication PHY and MAC layers.

3 Terms, definitions and abbreviations
3.1 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions as defined in GB/T 36628.1-2018 apply to this document.
3.1.1 Beacon
A pipe sent by the coordinator to keep synchronization with connected devices, describe the superframe structure, and deliver other LiPAN management information.
Note: Beacons can be divided into original beacons and additional beacons. The original beacon is a beacon periodically transmitted by the coordinator and transmitted in the beacon slot of each superframe. Additional letter The beacon is an extra beacon that is sent outside the original beacon based on the device request, and is generally sent in the GTS of the CFP area.
3.1.2 Compensation symbol
A pulse modulation symbol added for energy compensation during brightness adjustment.
3.2 Abbreviations
The following abbreviations apply to this document.
ACK confirmation (Acknowledgement)
AP access point (AccessPoint)
