GB/T 36535-2018 is the English-translated version of 蒸压粉煤灰空心砖和空心砌块.
GB/T 36535-2018 is the Chinese national standard for autoclaved fly ash hollow bricks and hollow blocks.
It gives the terms and definitions, the sizes, grades and markings, the general requirements and the technical requirements - dimensional deviation, appearance, compressive strength, density, drying shrinkage, frost resistance and carbonation - and then the test methods, the inspection rules, the product certificate and the provisions on stacking and transport.
It applies to units used in non-load-bearing walls of industrial and civil buildings. Block plants, contractors and building inspectors use it. Issued on 13 July 2018, it has applied since 1 June 2019.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, specifications, grades and markings of autoclaved fly ash hollow bricks and hollow blocks, general provisions, technical requirements Requirements, test methods, inspection rules, product certification, stacking and transportation.
This standard applies to autoclaved fly ash hollow bricks and hollow blocks for non-load-bearing structures for industrial and civil buildings.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions as defined in GB/T 18968 apply to this document.
3.1 Autoclaved fly ash hollow brick
Fly ash, quicklime (or calcium carbide slag) as the main raw material, can be added with appropriate amount of gypsum, admixture and other aggregates, prepared and pressed by the blank A brick made of molding and high-pressure steam curing with a hollow ratio of not less than 35% (hereinafter referred to as hollow brick).
3.2 Autoclaved fly ash hollow block
Fly ash, quicklime (or calcium carbide slag) as the main raw material, can be added with appropriate amount of gypsum, admixture and other aggregates, prepared and pressed by the blank A block made of molding and high-pressure steam curing having a hollow ratio of not less than 45% (hereinafter referred to as a hollow block).
3.3 Aspect ratio ratioofheighttowidth
H/B The ratio of the bearing height (H) to the minimum horizontal dimension (B) of the hollow brick and the hollow block in actual use.
