This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard uses the redrafting method to modify the use of ISO 15362..2014 "Information provided to users by stereo microscopes".

The main technical differences between this standard and ISO 15362.2014 and their reasons are.

3 Information provided by the manufacturer

3.1 General

The necessary information for the following microscope assembly characteristics is provided by the manufacturer and the format of the information should be in accordance with GB/T 22058.

a) country of origin information;

b) (m) the manufacturer;

c) (r) Country of origin, when required.

3.2 Basic information about stereo microscopes

The basic information is as follows.

a) (m) magnification;

b) (m) continuous zoom range or step change order;

c) (m) the diameter of the object field;

d) (m) free working distance d1 (see Figure 1);

e) (r) Numerical aperture.

Note. Table 1 is all the information given by the minimum and maximum magnification changes.
