Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard uses the redrafting method to modify the ISO 10243.2010 "die rectangular section compression spring installation size and color standard

knowledge".

There are technical differences between this standard and ISO 10243.2010. The terms involved in these differences have been passed through the margins on the outer side of the page.

The vertical single line (—) is marked. The corresponding technical differences and their reasons are as follows.

--- Change the tolerance "+/-1%" in Table 1 to "+/-1%L0" to make the statement clearer.

This standard also made the following editorial changes.

---Modified the tolerance of "2.2 free length L0" "The tolerance of free length L0 should meet the requirements of Figure 1 and Table 1."

The tolerance of length L0 shall be in accordance with Table 1. ";

--- Removed the separator between the size code or the value and the unit in Table 2~Table 5.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements for compression springs made of rectangular cross-section metal wires and gives the color of each spring grade.

This standard divides springs into four grades. light, medium, heavy and extra heavy.
