Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, principles, reagents and materials for the determination of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in paints by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry.

Equipment, samples, test procedures, test data processing, precision and test reports.

This standard applies to the determination of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in paints and coatings, including but not limited to the polycyclic aromatics listed in Table A.1 of Appendix A. hydrocarbon. The determination of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in raw materials for coatings can be referred to this standard.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

4 Principle

The polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in the sample were ultrasonically extracted using n-hexane as an extraction solvent. Gas chromatography-mass spectrometer after constant volume extraction (GC/MS) was tested and quantified by external standard method.

Note: Other approved suitable solvents can also be selected as the extraction solvent.

5 Reagents and materials

Unless otherwise specified, only reagents identified as analytically pure and of the above purity were used in the analysis.

5.1 n-hexane. chromatographically pure.

5.2 Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon calibration compounds (see Table A.1). mass fraction not less than 99%.

5.3 Mixed standard stock solution. about 200µg/mL, weigh about 0.02g of each polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon calibration compound (5.2), accurate to 0.1mg, Place in a 100 mL volumetric flask (6.6) and dilute to the mark with n-hexane (5.1).
