Scope

GB/T 36465-2018 is the English-translated version of 网络终端操作系统总体技术要求.

GB/T 36465-2018 sets the general technical requirements for the operating systems of network terminals, the devices that give users network access and human-machine interaction.

It covers Chinese language support, with GB 18030 coding, fonts and Chinese input methods, and the input methods themselves: touch, virtual keyboard and handwriting input.

It also sets naming rules for user file directories and the system management functions, from task, application and input method management to wireless, Bluetooth, brightness, sound, date and time, sensor, system information, upgrade and factory reset settings.

Power management covers battery and charge management, power consumption statistics, startup and energy saving, followed by requirements for common software. It applies to the design, development and implementation of network terminal operating systems. It was issued on 7 June 2018 and has applied since 1 January 2019.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the Chinese cultural requirements, input methods, core services, system management, device management, and power management of network terminal operating systems. Management and common software requirements.

This standard applies to network terminal operating system design, development and implementation.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Operating system

Controlling the execution of various programs for scheduling can provide services such as resource allocation, scheduling, input and output control, and data management software.

3.2 Network terminal

A terminal device with network function access to enable human-machine interaction.

4 Chinese language requirements

4.1 Chinese coding standard

The system should meet the requirements of GB 18030.

4.2 Chinese font

The Chinese font library provided by the system should meet the following requirements.

a) The system shall provide four basic output fonts. Song, Song, Bold, and Carcass, where the system default output font is Songs;

b) The system should provide the following font conversion methods. regular, oblique, bold, bold and tilt, where the default font is regular font.

4.3 Chinese input method

The input method provided by the system should meet the corresponding standards.
