Scope
GB/T 36438-2018 is the English-translated version of 学习设计XML绑定规范.
GB/T 36438-2018 is the Chinese XML binding for the learning design information model of GB/T 30265-2013, written following the rule-based XML binding technique of GB/T 21364-2008.
It specifies the XML grammar used to describe a learning design, from character set encoding and namespaces to the elements of each level: at level A learning design, components, roles, learning and support activities, activity structures, environments, services, methods, plays and acts; at level B properties, conditions, expressions, calculations and data types; at level C notifications.
It gives three levels of implementation and conformance. It applies to describing teaching and learning processes and designing course frameworks in learning, education and training, so that digital learning materials can be exchanged and reused. It was issued on 7 June 2018 and has applied since 1 January 2019.

Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
Introduction
The development of information technology has brought about a comprehensive innovation in learning, education and training technology. Digital learning has become more widely accepted and become a tradition, new developments in learning, education and training models.
One of the important aspects of digital learning is learning design. December 31, 2013, GB/T 30265-2013 Information Technology Learning, Education and Training Learning Design Information Model, published, this standard focuses on the information technology learning, education and training standards system The basic problem of design is to design a curriculum framework to support the diversity of courses and curriculum innovation, while promoting digital learning materials exchangeable and interoperable; emphasizes learning activities as the center, using educational modeling language to describe various teaching methods, such as collaboration Learning, mixed learning, problem-based learning, etc., active in the development of online education and the sharing, reuse and interoperability of educational resources effect. For better implementation of GB/T 30265-2013, the standard needs to be applied to the engineering implementation, requiring an XML binding specification Guidance to promote learning design can be better applied in digital learning. Learning design XML binding specification according to GB/T 21364-2008 "Information Technology Learning, Education and Training Rule-Based XML Binding Technology" for learning design information in GB/T 30265-2013 The model is XML bound. It plays an active role in promoting the development of online education and the sharing, reuse and interoperability of educational resources.
