GB/T 36435-2018 is the English-translated version of 信息技术射频识别 2.45GHz读写器通用规范.

GB/T 36435-2018 is the general specification for 2.45 GHz radio frequency identification readers.

It sets requirements for appearance, function, performance, environmental adaptability, reliability, maintainability, interchangeability, protection level, electromagnetic compatibility, safety, continuous working time, power adaptability, restricted substances and the instructions for use.

Each requirement has a matching test method, and the standard also gives the quality assessment procedures - inspection classification, type test, batch-by-batch inspection and periodic test - with a normative annex on failure classification and criteria, as well as marking, packing, transport and storage.

It applies to the design, production, testing and acceptance of 2.45 GHz RFID readers and refers to the GB/T 2423 environmental tests and GB/T 4208 IP codes. It was issued on 7 June 2018 and has applied since 1 January 2019.

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the general requirements of 2.45GHz RFID readers (hereafter referred to as readers) and describes the corresponding test methods.

Quality assessment procedures are given, as well as marking, packaging, transportation and storage.

This standard applies to the design, production, testing and acceptance of 2.45GHz RFID readers.
