Scope

GB/T 36412-2018 is the English-translated version of 力标准机的检验与校准.

GB/T 36412-2018 is the Chinese national standard for checking and calibrating force standard machines, the machines that apply a known reference force to dynamometers and force sensors.

It covers four designs: deadweight machines (DWM), which use the weight of masses directly, lever-amplification machines (LM), hydraulic-amplification machines (HM) and build-up machines (BM), which load the instrument under test in series with one or more reference dynamometers of higher accuracy.

For these machines it sets out the terms and definitions, the technical requirements, the inspection and calibration methods, the inspection rules, marking and packaging, and the technical documents that must accompany the machine, drawing on GB/T 2611-2007 and JB/T 6147-2007.

Makers of force standard machines and the metrology laboratories that run them use it. It was issued on 7 June 2018 and has applied since 1 January 2019.

Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, inspection and calibration methods, inspection rules, marking and packaging, and accompanying techniques of the force standard machine documentation.

This standard applies to static, lever, hydraulic and superimposed force standard machines.

2 Normative references

The following documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated references, only dated versions apply to this document. For undated references, the latest edition (including all amendments) applies to this document.

GB/T 2611-2007 test machine general technical requirements

JB/T 6147-2007 Test machine packaging, packaging signs, storage and transportation technical requirements

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Deadweight force standard machine (DWM)

With the weight of the weight as the standard force value, the standard force value is automatically and smoothly applied in a predetermined order through a suitable mechanical system. A force standard machine on a dynamometer (or force sensor) that is calibrated or calibrated.

3.2 Lever-amplification force standard machine (LM)

The weight of the weight is used as the standard force value. After being enlarged by a certain proportion of the lever mechanism, the standard is automatically and smoothly in a predetermined order. The force value is applied to the force standard machine on the calibrated or calibrated dynamometer (or force sensor).

3.3 Hydraulic-amplification force standard machine (HM)

The weight of the weight is used as the standard force value, and after being enlarged by a hydraulic system composed of a certain proportion of two sets of cylinder pistons, in a predetermined order A force standard machine that automatically and smoothly applies a standard force value to a dynamometer (or force sensor) that is calibrated or calibrated.

3.4 Build-up force standard machine (BM)

Use one or a group (usually three) of the standard dynamometer with higher accuracy than the calibrated or calibrated dynamometer as the reference standard. A calibrated or calibrated force gauge (or force sensor) is connected in series and a force standard machine that applies a standard force value using a mechanical or hydraulic system.
