Scope

GB/T 36329-2018 is the English-translated version of 信息技术软件资产管理授权管理.

GB/T 36329-2018 sets out how an organization records and manages the entitlements attached to its software, that is, the information on the rights it holds over each software product.

It defines the entitlement tag, the data structure that carries this information, and the primary entitlement tag with the basic data, and it specifies the data description of the tag and the general requirements for entitlement management.

Informative annexes describe the tag, its elements and its complex properties. The tag relies on GB/T 7408 for dates and times, GB/T 13000 and GB 18030 for character sets, GB/T 18793 for XML and GB/T 26231 for object identifiers.

It applies to organizations carrying out software asset management and does not deal with the activation mechanism of software products. It was issued on 7 June 2018 and has applied since 1 January 2019.

This standard applies to organizations that carry out software asset management.

This standard does not consider the activation mechanism of software products.

The organization and use of software rights related information.

3.2 Authorization tag

Encapsulates the data structure of software-related information.

3.3 Primary authorization tag

Authorization tag that contains basic information.

3.4 Element
