Scope
GB/T 36328-2018 is the English-translated version of 信息技术 软件资产管理 标识规范.
GB/T 36328-2018 sets out what a software identification must contain and how it is managed within software asset management.
It treats the identification as a software asset description file made up of required, optional and extension elements, and gives the general requirements for the software identifier, file naming and storage, data consistency and data validity.
It also describes the management process: creating, modifying, using and correcting a software identification, with informative annexes on the elements and their types.
It draws on the UCS and GB 18030 character sets, XML 1.0 and the OID numbering system of GB/T 26231-2017. It is meant for organizations that manage software assets, for providers of software asset management services and for software manufacturers. It was issued on 7 June 2018 and has applied since 1 January 2019.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the element information in the software identification, which clarifies the general requirements and management process of the software identification.
This standard is applicable to organizations that carry out software asset management and provide software asset management services, as well as those that provide software assets.
The creation and management of software identification by organizations such as manufacturers and service providers.

3.1 Software identification
A software asset description file containing mandatory, optional, and extended elements.
3.2 Object identifier; OID

3.3 Element
