Scope
GB/T 36244-2018 is the English-translated version of 电感耦合等离子体原子发射光谱仪.
GB/T 36244-2018 deals with inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometers, instruments in which an aerosol of the sample is carried into a plasma and excited, and the elements are identified and measured from the wavelength and relative intensity of the characteristic radiation they emit.
It specifies the terms and definitions, composition and classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transport and storage of these instruments, and it defines multi-channel simultaneous instruments.
Among its references are GB 4793.1-2007 and GB/T 34065-2017 for safety, GB/T 18268.1-2010 for electromagnetic compatibility, GB/T 11606-2007 for environmental tests and JJG 768-2005, the verification regulation for emission spectrometers.
It applies to instruments used for qualitative and quantitative elemental analysis. It was issued on 7 June 2018 and has applied since 1 November 2018.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions as defined in GB/T 23942, GB/T 4470 and JJG 768-2005 apply to this document.
3.1 Inductively coupled plasma; ICP
The plasma generated by induction excitation by the high-frequency electromagnetic field uses the high-temperature and non-electric field gas regions as the observation area.
3.2 Inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometer
The sample is atomized by an atomizer to form an aerosol, which is carried by the carrier gas into the plasma and evaporated, atomized, excited in a high-temperature inert gas atmosphere. Hair and ionization. When an atom or ion of a measured element is excited, the electron transitions at different energy levels within the atom, and when transitioning from a high energy state to a low energy state Generates characteristic radiation. An instrument for qualitative or quantitative analysis of elements by determining the wavelength and relative intensity of such characteristic radiation.
3.3 Multi-channel simultaneous inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometer
Multi-wavelength channel instrument for simultaneous single line detection.
