Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".

Drafting.

This document supersedes GB/T 36213-2018 "Ships and Marine Technology - Mooring and Towing Equipment - Mooring Guide Holes".

Compared with GB/T 36213-2018, apart from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

a) The definition of safe workload has been changed (see 3.1, 2018 version 3.1);

b) Added technical guidelines (see 7.2);

c) Finite element analysis conditions have been added (see A.3.2).

This document is equivalent to ISO 13713:2020 "Ships and marine technology - Mooring and towing equipment - Mooring guide holes".

The following minimal editorial changes have been made to this document.

4 Classification

4.1 Type

Mooring guide holes should be classified into the following two types according to their installation location.

a) Type A. Deck-mounted mooring guide hole;

b) Type B. Mooring guide holes are installed on the bulwark.

4.2 Nominal Dimensions

The nominal dimensions of a mooring guide hole are expressed in millimeters as the width and height (L×H) of the guide hole opening. For the same nominal...

Mooring guide holes of different sizes and safe working loads (SWL) are distinguished by adding the letter A or B after the nominal size.

The nominal dimensions are as follows.

250×200, 300×250, 350×250, 400×250, 450×250, 500×250A, 500×250B.

5 Size

The dimensions and parameters of the mooring guide hole shall conform to the provisions of Tables 1 to 4 and Figures 1 and 2.
