Scope
GB/T 36188-2018 is the English-translated version of 贵德黑裘皮羊.
GB/T 36188-2018 is the Chinese breed standard for the Guide black fur sheep, a local fur sheep breed raised mainly in Guinan County of the Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, and also in Guide, Gangcha, Gonghe and other counties of the province.
It records the breed origin and describes the black or black-purple adult coat, the lamb wool with reddish roots, the horns carried by both rams and ewes and the body conformation, with photographs in Annex A. It gives the body height, body length, chest girth and body weight of rams and ewes at 12 and 24 months of age.
It also covers production performance and grade evaluation, with NY/T 1236 as normative reference, and applies to breed identification and grading. It was issued on 14 May 2018 and has applied since 1 December 2018.

1 Scope
This standard stipulates the source, variety characteristics, production performance and grade evaluation of the wild black sable sheep.
This standard applies to the identification and grading of breeds of Guide black sable sheep.

3 Source of variety
The Guide black raccoon sheep is a famous local breed of suede sheep in China. Mainly produced in Guinan County, Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province De County is also distributed in Haishu, Gangcha, Gonghe and other counties in Qinghai Province.
4 Variety characteristics
4.1 Body appearance
The whole body is covered with braided hair, the hair is longer than the abdominal line, and the lower edge of the neck and the abdomen are thin and short. The roots of the lamb's wool are mostly reddish and the tip is pure. black. Adult sheep are black or black-purple, partially black-gray. The body is firm and well-structured. The head is long triangle, the width is flat, and the nose is long.
The ear is medium in size and slightly sagged. Both the male and the ewes have horns, and the rams are twisted and stretched upwards and outwards, and the ewes are smaller. Straight back, cross Slightly higher than the armor, the hips are slightly full. The limbs are strong and the hoof is strong. The tail is short and thin and tapered.
