GB/T 36018-2018 is the English-translated version of 吹氧金属软管.

GB/T 36018-2018 is the Chinese national standard for the corrugated metal hose assemblies that connect oxygen lances in converter steelmaking.

It applies to hoses carrying oxygen or cooling water, with nominal sizes from DN50 to DN450, working temperatures up to 400 °C and a design pressure at room temperature of up to 2.5 MPa, and may be referred to for other systems and media.

It sets out the classification into oxygen hoses and water hoses, the structure types and model designation, and the requirements for materials, manufacture, appearance, dimensions, performance, weld non-destructive testing and cleaning.

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage of metal oxygen blowing hoses. Save and install and use.

This standard is applicable to metal hoses (referred to as hoses) connected to oxygen lances in oxygen smelting systems for converters in the metallurgical industry. The medium is Oxygen, cooling water, nominal size DN50~DN450, working temperature not exceeding 400°C, design pressure at room temperature 2.5MPa (inclusive)

The metal hoses of other systems and media can be referred to for implementation.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Inner lining tube

A strip-wrapped, retractable, bendable tubular shell lined inside the bellows.

4.1 Classification

According to the use of different media, hose is divided into two types of oxygen hose, water hose.

4.2 Structure

The hose is generally composed of a bellows, a wire mesh cover, a lining winding pipe, an outer sheath, a fixing and lifting flange and a joint, wherein the inner lining winding pipe Reducing the flow resistance and reducing the noise; the outer sheath plays the role of protecting the welding part; according to the need, other protections can be added at both ends of the hose.
