Scope
GB/T 35975-2018 is the English-translated version of 起重吊具 分类.
GB/T 35975-2018 gives the common classification of load lifting attachments, the devices used to lift loads in hoisting operations.
It first defines the terms, from fixed and non-fixed attachments to gripping, suspension, pallet fork and absorption types, then sorts the attachments into the families that make up the classification: gripping type, suspension type, pallet fork type, absorption type and grabs.
A gripping attachment holds the load by pressing on its sides, while a suspension attachment carries it with its centre of mass below the attachment. The standard applies to load lifting attachments in general. It was issued on 6 February 2018 and has applied since 1 September 2018.
