Scope
GB/T 35927-2018 is the English-translated version of 傅里叶变换显微红外光谱法识别聚合物层或夹杂物的标准规程.
GB/T 35927-2018 describes how Fourier transform infrared microspectroscopy (FT-IR) is used to identify polymer layers and inclusions. It applies to abnormal particles or spots on the surface of or inside a thin film, and to the individual layers of multilayer barrier films made by co-extrusion.
The standard explains why the analysis matters: particles degrade the appearance of a film and its electrical and mechanical properties, while FT-IR can show the boundaries between barrier layers and the cause of defects there, such as missing layers, voids or a faulty co-extrusion process.
Terms, symbols and units follow GB/T 2035, GB/T 8322 and GB 3100, and GB/T 32198 on quantitative infrared analysis is among its references. Film producers and analytical laboratories use it, and it was issued on 6 February 2018 and has applied since 1 September 2018.

Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
1 Scope
This standard specifies methods for the identification of polymer layers or inclusions using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy.
This standard is applicable to abnormal particles or spots on the surface or inside of a thin film, and the difference in barrier films used for composite extrusion. The identification of inclusions in the polymer layer.

4 Significance and use
4.1 The presence of particles in the film can affect the apparent quality of the film and lead to a decrease in the electrochemical and mechanical properties of the polymer substrate (details See GB/T 5023.1).
4.2 Analysis of multi-layer composite barrier films by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) to indicate the boundaries of each barrier Adhesion, and the cause of defects at the boundary (missing layers, voids in layers, or improper composite extrusion processes). Figure 1 shows typical Schematic of a multilayer polymer film material.
