GB/T 35851-2018 is the English-translated version of 飞机电缆和电缆线束术语.

GB/T 35851-2018 is the Chinese national vocabulary for aircraft electrical cables and cable harnesses, a translation identical with ISO 8815:1994.

It specifies the terms used when the construction, the testing or the use of aircraft wiring and cable harnesses is being described, and each entry carries a serial number, the term, its definition and the terms that are not preferred.

The entries are given in the three languages of ISO, English, French and Russian, and in German as well, but only the terms in the ISO languages count as ISO terms.

A note warns that the usage of the aviation industry differs slightly from IEC 461. It applies to aircraft cables and cable harnesses. It was issued on 6 February 2018 and has applied since 1 September 2018.

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard uses the translation method identical with ISO 8815:1994 "Aircraft cables and cables Harness terms."

This standard made the following editorial changes.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms related to aircraft cables and cable harnesses.

NOTE 1 Terminology used in the aviation industry is slightly different from the widely used term IEC 461.

Note 2. Terms are given in German in addition to the three official languages (English, French, Russian) of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO ). These operations The language is included in the ISO Technical Committee ISO /TC20 application and is published under the responsibility of the German member institutions (DINs).
