Foreword

GB/T 35850 "Application of programmable electronic systems related to elevators, escalators and moving walkways" is intended to be composed of the following three parts.

--- Part 3. Life cycle guidelines (technical reports) for programmable electronic systems related to PESSRAL and PESSRAE.

This part is the second part of GB/T 35850.

This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This section uses the redrafting method to modify the electrical requirements of ISO 8102-6.2019 "Elevators, escalators and moving walkways"

Part. Application of programmable electronic systems related to escalator and moving walkway safety (PESSRAE).

This section has the following adjustments in structure compared to ISO 8102-6.2019.

--- ISO 2102-6.2019 of the second paragraph of 1.3 corresponds to 1.4 of this part, and adjust the number of the subsequent chapter of Chapter 1;

--- Appendix 8 of ISO 8102-6.2019 corresponds to Appendix C of this part;

--- Appendix B of ISO 8102-6.2019 corresponds to Appendix A of this part.

The technical differences between this part and ISO 8102-6.2019 and their reasons are as follows.

1 Scope

1.1 This part of GB/T 35850 applies when programmable electronic systems are used to perform escalator and moving walkway electrical safety functions.

As well as the Escalator and moving walkway specifications, the escalators and moving walkway safety functions defined in the standard apply PESSRAE.

1.2 This section also applies to new or different PESSRAEs that differ from those described in this section.

1.3 If the electrical safety device complies with all the requirements of this part and other relevant standards, it is not necessary to consider the possibility of failure.

1.4 This section.

a) The use of a Safety Integrity Level (SIL) to specify the target failure amount for implementing safety functions with PESSRAE;

b) specifies the requirements for achieving the safety integrity of a function, but does not specify the responsible entity that implements and maintains the requirement (eg.

Meter, manufacturer, supplier or owner, etc.);

c) programmable electronic systems (PE systems) for escalators and moving walkways, in line with escalators and moving walkways
