Foreword

This document conforms to GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part

1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting is scheduled. This document replaces GB/T 35659-2017 "Classification and Evaluation Criteria for Economic and Trade Exhibitions". Compared with GB/T 35659-2017, Apart from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) The "Basic Principles" section has been removed (see Chapter 4 of the.2017 edition);

b) The "Grading and Evaluation Indicators" have been changed (see Chapter 4, Chapter 5 in the.2017 edition);

1 Scope

GB/T 35659-2026 is the Chinese national standard covering grading a trade fair - the scale and the international share of exhibitors and visitors, the professional quality of the audience, the trading actually done and the organiser's service, which is what an exhibitor is buying when they book a stand. It replaces GB/T 35659-2017 and has been in force since 1 October 2026, and it belongs with the trade exhibition carbon footprint standard GB/T 47951-2026. It was issued on 31 March 2026 and takes effect on 1 October 2026, replacing GB/T 35659-2017. The document is under the responsibility of the Standardization Administration of China. 4 Grading and Evaluation Indicators

4.1 Classification Based on the degree of compliance with evaluation indicators such as influence, service quality, and management capabilities, economic and trade exhibitions are divided into three levels, from highest to lowest. The grades are ranked from lowest to highest as follows: AAAAA, AAAA, and AAA.

4.2 Evaluation Indicators Economic and trade exhibitions at all levels should simultaneously meet all the indicator requirements for the corresponding level in Table 1. Table
