3 method principle
3.1 Indigo disulfonate (indigo carmine) colorimetric method
In sulfuric acid medium, sodium indigo disulfonate (indigo carmine) is oxidized by nitrate to yellow indigo song to fade the blue, with spectrophotometry

In sulfuric acid medium, nitrate reacts with brucine to form a yellow compound, as determined by visual colorimetry.
