3 Terms and definitions
GB/T 35465.1 defined and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Independentvariable
Select and control variables in the SN or epsilon-N curve, stress or strain as an independent variable, with X said.
3.2 Dependentvariable
In the SN curve, the logarithm of the fatigue life or fatigue life is dependent and is denoted by Y, as variables that change with independent variables.
3.3 Repeat trial replicatetests
Under the same independent variables, similar samples were randomly selected and tested on different test equipment.
3.4 No fatigue fatigue runout
Within the specified number of cycles test specimens failed.
NOTE The data for unexplored fatigue, aborted testing, and near unexecuted fatigue are not applicable to this section of the statistical analysis.
