Scope

GB/T 35023-2018 is the English-translated version of 液压元件可靠性评估方法.

GB/T 35023-2018 gives methods for assessing the reliability of hydraulic components as defined in GB/T 17446, such as cylinders, pumps, motors, valves and filters.

It sets out three routes: laboratory test analysis of failures or suspensions, analysis of field data, and empirical test analysis. The standard applies to the first failure of components that have not been maintained.

Besides terms, units and symbols and the general requirements for reliability, it specifies the content of the test report and the labelling statement, and informative annexes give worked calculation examples for the laboratory and field methods and the derivation of the empirical test formulas. It was issued on 14 May 2018 and has applied since 1 December 2018.

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the reliability assessment method applicable to hydraulic components as defined in GB/T 17446.

a) laboratory test analysis of failure or suspension;

b) on-site data analysis;

c) Empirical test analysis.

This standard applies to the first failure of hydraulic components without maintenance.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions as defined in GB/T 2900.13, GB/T 3358.1, GB/T 17446 apply to this document. For convenience Use, some of the terms and definitions are repeated below.

3.1 Component

A separate unit that implements a hydraulic drive system function consisting of one or more parts other than piping.

Note: refers to hydraulic components such as cylinders, pumps, motors, valves, filters, etc.

3.2 Reliability

The ability of a product to perform the required function under given conditions and within a given time interval. [GB/T 2900.13-2008, definition 191-02-06]

Note: This ability is expressed as probability, which is called reliability.

3.3 Failure

The ability of the component to complete the required function is interrupted. [GB/T 2900.13-2008, definition 191-04-01]
