1 Scope

This standard specifies the uniform thread rubbing and rolling before the blank diameter size. Unified thread nominal diameter range of 0.0600in ~

2.0000in (1/4in after only the first series of diameter; teeth series have UNC, UNF, UNEF, 8UN, 12UN and 16UN six

Species, the minimum number of teeth is 6 teeth); thread tolerance with 2A and 3A two.

This standard applies to the whole tooth extrusion process of carbon steel and alloy steel material uniform thread.

Note. "All-tooth extrusion process" refers to the processing of a thread-forming material that completely fills the underside of the cutter tooth space during thread extrusion.

3 Terms and definitions

GB/T 14791 defined terms and definitions apply to this document.

4 blank diameter formula

The formulas for calculating the diameter of rubbing and rolling thread blanks shall comply with the provisions of Appendix A.

5 rough diameter diameter size

Uniform thread rolling and rolling before the rough diameter diameter size should be consistent with the provisions of Table 1.

6 thread tool accuracy grade

A uniform thread of 2A and 3A tolerance should be machined with a class 1 precision tool.

Unified thread rolling plate and rolling wheel size should be consistent with the provisions of JB/T 8824.6-2012 and JB/T 8824.7-2012.
