China's national standard for the hot-rolled H section used to make the masts of electrified railway overhead line equipment. It specifies the order content, the classification and codes, the dimensions, shape, weight and permitted deviations, the technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the packaging, marking and quality certificate. A catenary mast is a simple-looking component with an unusual combination of demands.
