1 Scope

This standard specifies the determination of sulfur content in refractory materials, other related materials can also use this standard.

This standard applies to the determination of sulfur content in refractory materials. Table 1 shows the applicable range of different detection methods.

3 Instruments

3.1 high-frequency furnace burning infrared absorption carbon sulfur instrument.

3.2 Analysis Balance. Dividing value 0.1mg.

3.3 Crucibles such as graphite or alumina.

3.4 Electric furnace. Furnace temperature can be transferred to 1100 °C ± 20 °C.

3.5 Inductively Coupled Plasma Emission Spectrometer. Continuous or simultaneous emission spectrum, short wavelength available 180nm.

3.6 platinum crucible.

3.7 capacity bottle. Comply with GB/T 12806 provisions of the A-level requirements.

3.8 Pipette. Complies with Class A requirements of GB/T 12808.

4 Sample preparation
