Scope
GB/T 33807-2017 is the English-translated version of 玉米中转基因成分的测定 基因芯片法.
GB/T 33807-2017 gives the gene chip method for detecting genetically modified components in maize and in processed maize products.
It serves the qualitative detection of herbicide-tolerant maize carrying the EPSPS, PAT or BAR gene and of insect-resistant maize carrying the Bt genes Cry1A105 and Cry1Ab, and the minimum detection limit it fixes for a transgenic component is 0.1 %.
Its clause on terms and abbreviations names the genetic elements the chip looks for, among them the 35S promoter and the 35S terminator taken from cauliflower mosaic virus.
General requirements and gene chip detection come from GB/T 19495.1 and GB/T 19495.6, nucleic acid extraction and sampling from further parts of GB/T 19495, and laboratory water from GB/T 6682. Issued on 31 May 2017, it has applied since 1 December 2017.

Foreword
This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard is proposed and centralized by the National Standardization Technical Committee for Biochip (SAC/TC421).
The main drafting unit of this standard. Sichuan Huahan three biological technology Co., Ltd., the National Agricultural Standardization Monitoring and Research Center (Black Dragon Jiang), Guangdong Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Research Institute, Heilongjiang Province, grain and oil health inspection and monitoring station.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the detection methods for transgenic components in maize and maize processed products.
This standard is applicable to transgenic EPSPS gene, PAT gene, BAR gene herbicide resistant maize and transgenic Bt gene (Cry1A105, Cry1Ab) insect-resistant maize transgenic components of qualitative testing, but also for corn processing products in the qualitative detection of genetically modified ingredients, the standard The minimum detection limit for the defined transgenic component is 0.1%.
