GB/T 33800-2017 — This standard specifies the requirements for the shipbreaking management system so that the ship recycling plant can develop and implement procedures, guidelines and objectives to ensure that the shipbreaking plant Safe and environmentally sound shipbreaking operation in line with domestic and international standards. The shipbreaking management system requires that the shipbreaking plant need to be clear and adhered to Related legal requirements, safety standards and environmental factors to ensure safe and environmentally sound shipbreaking. This standard applies to the whole process of shipbreaking. the shipbreaking ship to accept the dismantling of the ship; assessment of harmful substances on board; clear and comply with the Dismantling the ship's notification and import requirements; carrying out shipbreaking in a safe and environmentally sound manner; conducting necessary personnel training; ensuring effective Social welfare (eg first aid, health checkup, food and drink); ship waste and material storage and disposal, including contracted waste and Management of spilled liquid in shipbreaking; process document control, including any notice applicable to the final disposal of the ship. This standard applies to any shipbreaking plant with the following aspirations. a) establish, implement, maintain and improve safe and environmentally sound shipbreaking management systems; b) to ensure that they are in conformity with the stated safety and environmentally sound management approach; c) Verify compliance with this standard by. 1) self-evaluation and self-declaration; 2) seek confirmation of compliance by the relevant party (eg, customer) of the shipbreaking plant; 3) seek external confirmation of their self - declaration; 4) Seeking external organizations to certify (or register) their management systems. This standard is intended to enable all of its requirements to be incorporated into the management system of any one of the shipbreaking plants. In order to comply with this standard, the management system should be indicated All requirements. Appendix A gives a comparison of this International Standard with the International Convention on the Safe and Environmentally Sound Recycling of IMO (International Maritime Organization).
