Foreword

GB/T 33564 "Identification card service life" is divided into the following two parts.

- Part 1. Application profiles and requirements;

Part 2. Evaluation methods.

This part is part 1 of GB/T 33564.

This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This part is modified using ISO /IEC 24789-1..2012 "Identification of card service life Part 1. Application profiles and requirements".

The technical differences between this part and ISO /IEC 24789-1..2012 and the reasons are as follows.

4) Added references to ISO /IEC 10373-1..2006/AMD1..2008 (see 5.3.2);

5) ISO /IEC 24789-2..2011 changed to date reference (see 3.1, 3.2, Chapter 5 and B.1.4).

This part also makes the following editorial changes.

a) the suspension of the international standards in Chapter 5, Appendix B of the suspension section was processed, corresponding to the chapter number of the corresponding changes;

b) the statement of the repetitive description in Appendix A has been deleted;

c) The "two-dimensional pdf417 bar code" in Appendix B is changed to "eg, 2D GM barcode, see SJ/T 11349-2006".
