The amount of enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of one micromolar o-nitrobenzene-beta-D-galactoside per minute under specified reaction conditions.

4 principle

beta-galactosidase can rapidly catalyze o-nitrobenzene-beta-D-galactoside to produce o-nitrophenol and galactose by changing the absorbance value

The amount of o-nitrophenol was calculated to calculate the enzyme activity.
