- Part 4.Bulk current injection (BCI);

- Part 5.Strip line;

- Part 7.Direct injection of radio frequency power;

- Part 8.Magnetic field immunity method;

- Part 9.Portable transmitter method;

- Part 10.Immunity to conducted disturbances in the extended audio

frequency range;

- Part 11.Reverberation chamber method.

This Part is Part 9 of GB/T 33014.

This Part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This Part uses the redraft law to modify and adopt ISO 11452-9.2012 "Road

vehicles - Component test methods for electrical disturbances from narrowband

radiated electromagnetic energy - Part 9.Portable transmitters".

The technical differences between this Part and ISO 11452-9.2012 and their

reasons are as follows.

- As for the normative references, this Part has made adjustments with

technical differences, to adapt to the technical conditions of China. The

adjustments are mainly reflected in Clause 2 "Normative references". The

specific adjustments are as follows.

* Replace ISO 11452-1 with GB/T 33014.1, which modifies and adopts

the international standard;

* ADD reference to GB/T 33014.2-2016.

- ADD notes to the numbers in Figure 6.

- The figures in Table B.1 in the previous text are incorrect. This Part has

made corrections.

- The remote/local grounding in the previous text 7.2 adopts Annex D; this

Part adopts the equivalent GB/T 33014.2-2016 Annex B, to avoid repetition

of the same content. At the same time, delete Annex D.

- Rearrange the frequency bands in Annex A of the previous text; GIVE a

note for the international frequency bands not used in China; ADD some

frequency bands used in China.

- ADD annotations to Category 1, Category 2, and Category 3 in Annex C, to

facilitate users' understanding and selection.

This Part has made the following editorial changes.

- In order to be consistent with China's technical standard system, change

the standard name to "Road vehicles - Component test methods for

electrical/electronic disturbances from narrowband radiated

electromagnetic energy - Part 9.Portable transmitters";

- According to the requirements of GB/T 1.1-2009, standardize the writing of

Clause 1;

- ADD the bibliography.

This Part was proposed by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of

the PRC.

This Part shall be under the jurisdiction of National Technical Committee of Auto

Standardization (SAC/TC 114).

Road vehicles - Component test methods for

electrical/electronic disturbances from narrowband

radiated electromagnetic energy -

Part 9.Portable transmitters

1 Scope

This Part of GB/T 33014 specifies component test methods for

electrical/electronic (ESA) disturbances from continuous narrowband radiated

electromagnetic energy - portable transmitters.

2 Normative references

The following documents are indispensable for the application of this document.

For the dated references, only the editions with the dates indicated are

applicable to this document. For the undated references, the latest edition

(including all the amendments) are applicable to this document.

GB/T 33014.1 Road vehicles - Component test methods for

electrical/electronic disturbances from narrowband radiated electromagnetic

energy - Part 1.General (GB/T 33014.1-2016, ISO 11452-1.2005, MOD)

3 Terms and definitions

For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T

33014.1 apply.

4 Test conditions

The applicable frequency range of the portable transmitter method is 26 MHz

to 5.85 GHz. The user shall specify the test severity level or levels over the

frequency bands. The test severity level shall take into account

5 Test location

The test shall be carried out in an absorber-lined shielded enclosure.

Basically, an absorber-lined shielded enclosure consists of a shielded room with

absorbing material on its internal reflective surfaces, optionally excluding the

floor. The design objective is to attenuate the reflected energy in the test area

by at least 10 dB compared with the direct energy.

6 Test instrumentation

Commercial portable transmitters having an integral antenna are a convenient

and readily available field-generating device.

Signal sources with internal or external modulation capability.

Power amplifier(s). multiple RF amplifiers may be required to cover the range

of test frequencies.

7 Test set-up

Each DUT power supply lead shall be connected to the power supply through

the power supply and an artificial network (AN).

The total length of the test harness between the DUT and the load simulator (or

RF boundary) shall not exceed 1700 mm.

The load simulator shall be placed directly on the ground plane. If the load

simulator has a metallic case, this case shall be bonded to the ground plane.

8 Test methods

The simulated portable transmitter antenna shall be placed at a minimum

distance of 1 m from any part of the DUT, from the ground plane and from the

test enclosure, and 0.5 m from any absorber. It shall use unmodulated

sinusoidal wave for calibration. During calibration, the adjustment of the net

power shall be performed, until the predetermined level is achieved.

Annex A

(Informative)

Typical characteristics of portable transmitters

Examples of typical characteristics of portable transmitters are given in Table

A.1, and an explanation of the terms used is given in Table A.2.
