GB/T 32228-2015 is the English-translated version of 船舶与海上技术烟火救生设施产品的试验、检验和标识.

GB/T 32228-2015 — This standard specifies the use of pyrotechnic devices function test manufacturing life-saving equipment, testing, conformity assessment procedures and labeling requirements.

The standard Quasi apply in accordance with the International Maritime Organization (IMO) Recommendation on testing of life-saving equipment to evaluate and test by the Maritime Administration in accordance with IMO International Life-Saving Appliance (LSA) type approval requirements, in line with the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea 1974 (as amended) requires ship Ship on the use of the product.

The basic principles applicable to the press outside the IMO Convention requires the production of pyrotechnic lifesaving device, but the present standard only directly applicable it contains specific requirements for the product.

This standard does not affect the life-saving equipment testing IMO recommendation Part 2 Section 4 repeated periodically for all pyrotechnic lifesaving equipment prototype test Requirements.

The competent authority at a predetermined frequency of such tests, may be considered in accordance with the requirements of this standard.
