Scope

GB/T 32227-2015 is the English-translated version of 船用工作救生衣.

GB/T 32227-2015 is the national standard for work lifejackets for ships.

Clause 1 states that it specifies the marking example, the requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the marking, packaging, transport and storage of work lifejackets for ships whose buoyancy material is closed-cell foam or another equivalent material, and that it applies to the design, manufacture and testing of lifejackets for workers on ships and structures on rivers, lakes and the sea and for wading water operations, while lifejackets for tourism, leisure and other activities near or on water may refer to it.

Clause 2 cites GB/T 250-2008 and GB/T 251-2008 on the grey cards for assessing change in colour and staining in textile colour fastness tests, GB/T 3920 on colour fastness to rubbing, GB/T 5714 on colour fastness to sea water, GB/T 8430 on colour fastness to artificial weathering by xenon arc, GB/T 26086-2010 on reflective film for lifesaving equipment, GB/T 32234.8-2015 on the safety requirements and test methods for accessories of personal buoyancy equipment, and ISO 9227:2012 on the salt spray corrosion test in artificial environments.

The short clause 3 gives the marking example to be shown on the lifejacket.

Clause 4, Requirements, opens with the materials: the cloth of the bag is to resist sunlight and not fade, and its colour fastness is to meet GB/T 250-2008 and GB/T 251-2008 with anti-illumination performance not less than 5, anti-friction performance not less than 3 and seawater performance not less than 4, while the tensile strength of the cloth bag, the ties and the sutures is set in Table 1.

This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules. The standard proposed by China State Shipbuilding Corporation.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the type with closed-cell foam or other equivalent material to work lifejacket buoyancy material Marine (hereinafter referred to as life jackets)

This standard applies to river, lake and maritime workers on ships and structures wading water operations with life jacket design, manufacture and test Income. Tourism, leisure and other activities near water, or water with a life jacket can refer to use.

4 Requirements

4.1 Material

4.1.1 Cloth bag, and tied with suture

4.1.1.1 cloth should be resistant to the sun, not fade, color fastness should meet the following GB/T 250-2008 and GB/T 251-2008 provisions Claim.

a) Anti-illumination performance is not less than 5;

b) anti-friction properties is not less than 3;

c) the performance of seawater is not less than 4.
