Scope
GB/T 32133-2015 is the English-translated version of 延边牛.
GB/T 32133-2015 specifies the breed characteristics, the reproductive performance, the production performance, the grading and the basic requirements for breed registration of Yanbian cattle.
Clause 1 states that it applies to the breed identification and the comprehensive grading assessment of these cattle.
Clause 3, on the characteristics of the breed, places the main producing area in the Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture and describes the animals as tall and strong, with a mainly pale yellow coat, adaptable, tolerant of coarse feed and giving tender and juicy meat, calling the breed one of the fine local varieties kept in northern China.
Its second subclause describes the conformation of bulls and of cows separately, from the head, horns, neck, withers, chest, loin and rump to the limbs and hooves and, for cows, the udder, and refers for each sex to three figures in Appendix A. Clause 4, on growth, gives an average height of 61 cm and a weight of 20 kg to 25 kg for newborn calves, and for adults over five years an average of 600 kg in weight, 133 cm in height and 160 cm in body length for bulls and of 420 kg, 122 cm and 146 cm for cows.
Clause 2 cites GB 4143 on frozen bovine semen, NY/T 2660-2014 on beef production performance and the Ministry of Agriculture Decree No. 66 on excellent breeding stock registration rules.
The foreword records that the standard was proposed by the Ministry of Agriculture of the People's Republic of China and is centralized by the National Standardization Technical Committee on Animal Husbandry (SAC/TC274).
The draft published on the page breaks off at the end of clause 4, so the reproductive performance, the production performance, the grading and the registration requirements announced in clause 1 cannot be read. It was issued on 9 October 2015 and has applied since 1 May 2016.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the breed characteristics Yanbian cattle reproductive performance, production performance, rating, registration of varieties of basic requirements.
This standard applies to species identification and comprehensive assessment grade Yanbian cattle.

3 Characteristics of the species
3.1 Main areas and species characteristics
Yanbian cattle main producing areas located in Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture of Yanbian cattle commonly known, used along with meat served, tall and strong, with a pale yellow coat Lord, have adaptability, resistance to crude feed, the meat tender and juicy and so on, for the Department of northern China kept the fine local varieties.
3.2 Conformation
3.2.1 Bulls
Founder head, wide forehead, big eyes God, square mouth; angle thick, mostly word or inverted figure eight; short and thick neck, muscular; withers height and width; hoof round Large, solid; abdomen is cylindrical; slightly slanting rump; male characteristics significantly. See Appendix A in Figure A.1, Figure A.3, Figure A.5.
3.2.2 Cow
Head handsome, angular elongated, mostly for gantry angle; low and flat withers, shoulders long and oblique, chest wide, deep, waist straight, moderate length, good combination, Tajiri Wide and long; strong upright limbs, hoof big round thick; breast good adhesion and uniform development. See Appendix A in Figure A.2, Figure A.4, Figure A.6.
4 Growth
4.1 Calves
Newborn calves average body height 61cm, weight 20kg ~ 25kg.
4.2 Bulls
Adult (over 5 years) the average weight of the bull 600kg, body height 133cm, body length 160cm, Bust 200cm.
4.3 Cow
Adult (over 5 years) the average cow weight 420kg, body height 122cm, body length 146cm, Bust 177cm.
