Scope
GB/T 31343-2014 is the English-translated version of 炼油生产过程能量系统优化实施指南.
GB/T 31343-2014 specifies the basic principles, the technology roadmap and the implementation steps for optimizing the energy system of the refinery production process.
Clause 1 states that it applies to energy system optimization of refinery production processes, and that energy system optimization in the design phase of new and expanded refining projects may refer to it.
Clause 3 takes terms from GB/T 30716 and defines the refining process as the whole process from the storage and transport of crude oil through the blending of refined products to the public works and the ancillary and auxiliary systems, and defines energy system optimization of the refining process as proposing and implementing an optimization programme, on the basis of an energy status assessment, process simulation and analysis of the energy utilization systems of the refining process together with advanced technology and energy saving technology, so as to improve the overall energy efficiency and economic efficiency of the process.
Clause 4 lists five basic principles: seeking greater economic benefit from a smaller energy input while meeting production needs; giving full consideration to product quality, safe production, environmental protection and occupational health throughout the work and especially when the programme is developed and implemented; taking the global optimum as the goal, with local optimization subordinate to it; working closely with development planning; and taking full account of the joint optimization of materials and energy with the surrounding businesses.
Clause 2 cites GB 30251, GB/T 30716, GB/T 50441 and SY/T 6473. The draft carries no table of contents and ends after clause 4, so the technology roadmap and the implementation steps themselves are not shown.
The foreword warns that some of the content may involve patents and that the body distributing the document takes no responsibility for identifying them. The standard is administered by the national energy system standardization technical committee (SAC/TC459), and the page places it at ICS 27.010 and Chinese classification F01. It was issued on 31 December 2014 and has applied since 1 July 2015.
