1 Scope

GB/T 31186 provisions of this part of the banking financial institutions to basic customer information description model.

This section applies to all types of business systems and service system within the People's Republic of China and registered business banking financial institutions.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Bank customers

Banks in the whole life cycle, it has been a party or a business relationship with the bank that may occur.

Note. The party may be a natural person, it could be legally recognized organization.

3.2 Individual customers

As bank customers of natural persons.

3.3 Organization's customers

As a legally recognized organization of bank customers, it can also be called institutional clients, client organizations.

3.4 Existing customers

Currently banks and bank customers to maintain business relationships, including individual customers and corporate clients.

Note. existing customers is a proper subset of bank customers, and potential customers together constitute the complete works of bank customers.

3.5 Potential customers
