Scope

GB/T 3036-2017 is the English-translated version of 船用中心型蝶阀.

GB/T 3036-2017 is the Chinese national standard for marine centric-pivoted butterfly valves, both the wafer type and the flanged type. It gives their classification and marking, the requirements they must meet, the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions for marking, packaging, storage and transport.

The valves it covers take their flange connection dimensions and sealing faces from GB/T 2501, CB/T 4196 and three JIS pipe flange standards, and their face-to-face length from GB/T 12221 and the JIS valve dimension standard.

Compared with the previous edition it adds further varieties and further sizes of centric butterfly valve and changes the type B and BS designs. It applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of shipboard piping.

It replaces GB/T 3036-1994, was issued on 29 December 2017 and has applied since 1 July 2018.

Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GB/T 3036-1994 "marine center butterfly valve", compared with GB/T 3036-1994 main technical changes are as follows.

--- Increased variety of central butterfly valve (see 3.1);

--- Modify the type B, BS butterfly valve type (see 3.1);

--- Added a variety of specifications of the center-type butterfly valve (see 3.2).

1 Scope

This standard specifies the flange connection size according to GB/T 2501, CB/T 4196, JISB2220, JISB2239, JISB2240, structure Length according to GB/T 12221, JISB2002 center-type wafer type and flanged butterfly valve (hereinafter referred to as butterfly valve) classification and marking, to Requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage and transportation.

This standard applies to the center of the pipeline piping design, manufacture and acceptance.
