Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part

1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document supersedes GB/T 30341-2013 "Technical Requirements for Motor Vehicle Driver Training Grounds" and is consistent with GB/T 30341-2013. Compared to previous versions, aside from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) The requirements for venue size have been changed, and the minimum training size requirement for coaching fields has been removed (see Chapter 4,

4.2 of the.2013 edition);

b) The requirements for the length of the buffer zone in the training program have been changed (see 5.1.2,.2013 version 5.1.2);

c) Increased requirements for multi-lane roads within the training grounds, clearance height of training roads, connection between straight and horizontal curves, and road safety (see...). 5.2.3~5.2.5, 5.2.8);

d) The requirements for setting up intersections within the training grounds have been changed (see 5.2.11,

5.2.6 in the.2013 version);

e) The requirements for traffic light settings within the training grounds have been changed (see 5.3.3,.2013 version 5.3.3);

f) Parking lot setup requirements have been changed (see 5.4,.2013 version 5.4);

g) The requirements for office, teaching, and service facilities have been removed (see Chapter 6 of the.2013 edition);

h) The safety conditions for the training grounds have been changed (see 6.2,

7.2 in the.2013 version);

i) The requirements for the configuration of training facilities for coaching fields have been changed (see Appendix B, Appendix B of the.2013 edition);

1 Scope

GB/T 30341-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the driving school ground - the area and the layout of the manoeuvring items, the road surfaces and gradients, the markings and the safety barriers, the lighting for night training, and the facilities the trainees and instructors need. It replaces GB/T 30341-2013, under the Ministry of Transport. In force from 1 May 2026. Issued on 5 October 2025, it has been in force since 1 May 2026, replacing GB/T 30341-2013.

This document specifies the size of a motor vehicle driver training ground, the training facilities, equipment, road conditions, and other requirements. This document applies to the planning, design, and construction of motor vehicle driver training grounds.

3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 30340 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Teaching and training venues that have the necessary facilities, equipment, and training roads for motor vehicle driving training programs.

4.Site size The construction scale of a motor vehicle driver training ground (hereinafter referred to as the training ground) should be determined based on the planned training scale. The area of the training ground should be determined based on its training function, the type and number of applicable training vehicles, the number and configuration of training facilities, and the terrain and topography. The area of the coaching field is determined by factors such as the availability of open space. The calculation method for the coaching field area is given in Appendix A.
