Scope

GB/T 30264.1-2013 is the English-translated version of 软件工程 自动化测试能力 第1部分:测试机构能力等级模型.

GB/T 30264.1-2013 defines the model used to measure the automated testing capability of a software testing institute.

Clause 1 states that this part serves the implementation and the evaluation of a test organisation's automated testing capability, and that a test institute improving its own automated testing capability can also use it as an internal reference.

The page states that GB/T 30264 is divided into two parts, this one on the test institute capability maturity model and part 2 on the staff capability maturity model, and that the terms and definitions are those of GB/T 11457, which it cites as a normative reference.

Clause 4 describes the model: it is built from two components, automated testing resources and automated testing process management, each divided into a number of practices, and it grades capability in four levels from low to high.

Those levels are set out in the text: the first, the basic level, has basic management of automated testers and basic design and execution of automated test cases, with tools used during test execution; the second, the enhanced level, has trained testers, a separate automated testing unit and a test team conscious of automated testing, with automated tools used in process management as well as in execution; the third, the complete level, has accumulated knowledge, senior automation testers, automated tools throughout process management and, beyond execution, in part of test design, test analysis and process control; the fourth, the expert level, has a knowledge base and the ability to apply it, a dedicated automation testing team, automated tools in every test procedure and comprehensive assessment and improvement of process automation capability.

Its contents list names clause 5 on automated testing capability, divided into automated test resources and automated test process management, and clause 6 on the four capability levels taken one by one, followed by informative annexes listing the capability levels and the work products.

The standard is administered by the National Information Technology Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC28). It was issued on 2013-12-31 and has applied since 2014-07-15.

4 Automated test capability level model

4.1 Model Structure

Automated testing ability of the model structure shown in Figure 1. Automated testing capability model consists of automated testing and automated testing two resource Integral parts, each part is divided into a plurality of practice.

Level automated testing ability of the model from low to high is divided into four.

The first level is the basic level, with basic automated testing capabilities. Having automated testers with basic administration. You can enter The basic line of automated test design and implementation of use cases. Using test execution tools during test execution.

The second stage is to enhance the level, with high automated testing capabilities. Testers participated in the test automation training, with different division Automated testing department, the entire test team has automated testing awareness. Made proactive automated design bureau in the testing process Management unit processes using automation tools and test tools, testing tools used during test execution.

The third level is the perfect stage, with a complete testing capabilities. Have knowledge accumulation. Senior automation testers, all tested Process management automation tools are used, in addition to test execution, the part of test design, test analysis and process control using the testing tools, Basically automated.

The fourth level is the expert level, with professional testing capabilities. There are a wealth of accumulated knowledge and the ability to automate the application knowledge base. There are special Door automation testing team. All test procedures using automated testing tools, a comprehensive assessment and improvement process automation capabilities.
