3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Beneficiation Wastewater

In the dressing production process generated do not meet water quality objectives backwater wastewater, including tailings waste water, waste water and other waste concentrates

Water.

3.2 Beneficiation backwater returnwaterofMineralprocessing

Beneficiation waste water after appropriate treatment, backwater achieve water quality objectives, and the water can be reused.

3.3 Beneficiation backwater use returnwaterusing

Beneficiation waste water is treated to achieve water quality objectives and then take advantage of backwater process.

3.4 Beneficiation wastewater reuse rate

After beneficiation wastewater treatment and reuse of the total (Vcy)% of total production water (V) is.

4 copper beneficiation wastewater treatment and reuse system for use with the principle of

4.1 General requirements

Copper beneficiation wastewater treatment and reuse system should follow economically viable, energy conservation, stepped configuration, multi-purpose back early, efficient and environmentally friendly principles. in

Concentrator designs have backwater system should be carried out backwater system demonstration program, beneficiation wastewater treatment and reuse system should be designed with the main project,

Constructed and put into use.

Copper beneficiation wastewater treatment and reuse system generally includes. thickener backwater system, tailings backwater system.

4.2 thickener backwater system

Thickener backwater system from the tailings (concentrate) concentration system, pump station and pipeline components.

By concentrating backwater pond system, as soon as possible beneficiation wastewater treatment and reuse, help to improve efficiency and save energy.

4.3 tailings backwater system

To improve the efficiency of water use, environmental protection, water treatment tailings recovery system should be established tailings, tailings water through water to reach students

Production quality requirements, return concentrator re-use.

4.3.1 library artesian water

Tailings backwater design should make full use of the library of potential energy of water to save energy. For high dam, it should adopt the artesian water.

4.3.2 library pontoon water

When the library tailings clarification zones meeting the requirements of Table 1, the library can set floating boat backwater system in the tailings.

Pontoon type intake structures installed by the pump pontoons, laid on a slope of the return pipe and connection pipes and pipe pontoons liaison group to make. Pontoon arrangement is mainly used to pump unit and some auxiliary equipment, floating boat shall meet the requirements related to the balance and stability.

4.3.3 water pumping station outside the library

There should be drainage installations of tailings dam is located downstream of the dam to collect water seepage discharge pumping station, all will discharge water seepage collection, reuse or disposal.

4.3.4

tailings return water should be designed to take full advantage of the potential energy of water in the library to save energy. For the high dam, the rate of return and return balance

Higher and shorter ice surface tailings, should adopt the library cable car or boat-store backwater backwater pumping station.

4.3.5

backwater pumping station design should leave rich capabilities in order to increase the water back.

4.3.6

tailings from the tailings deposition library backwater pool of water abstraction pitch sideline during the use of tailings shall meet not less than all of clarification

Distance requirements. Clarification from the tailings may refer to similar or measured data determined by calculation.

4.3.7

backwater volume of tailings pond, for medium and small concentrator should not be less than the return water supply 4h ~ 6h, and should not be large-scale concentrator

Less than the return of the water supply 1h ~ 3h.

5 ways beneficiation wastewater treatment and recycling

5.1 copper beneficiation wastewater treatment

Beneficiation wastewater treatment depends on the composition of harmful substances, quantity and quality requirements of the backwater. Commonly used methods are the following

Several.

a) Natural degradation. the use of tailings settling ponds or other forms of degradation will remove mineral beneficiation waste water, or other solid impurities.

b) physical purification method. the use of the filter medium beneficiation wastewater harmful substances removed by filtration.

c) chemical purification method. adding an appropriate amount of water in the dressing chemicals, prompting harmful substances into harmless substances.

General Information 5.2 beneficiation wastewater reuse

5.2.1 thickener backwater

In or near the construction of the concentrator tailings (concentrate) dehydration enrichment pool and other facilities, to clarify the water is returned to the production process and then dressing.

5.2.2 tailings backwater

After the tailings slurry into the tailings, most of the solid-liquid separation, the formation of water in the Tail Mineral Processing then returns.

5.2.3 sedimentation tank backwater

Production of non-beneficiation process water and wastewater generated (such as cleaning water, dust water, cooling water, etc.) by sedimentation process after returning beneficiation

Production process for reuse.

6 copper beneficiation wastewater reuse test

6.1 backwater beneficiation test

Carrying copper ore optional test should be carried out wastewater reuse test conditions, the test results to assess wastewater reuse for beneficiation indicators Movies

Ring, presented to beneficiation backwater water quality requirements.

6.2 backwater depth treatment test

When beneficiation wastewater by clarifying, back into the water on chemical substances in large beneficiation indicators, reach the corresponding quality requirements, should be open

Experimental Study on Advanced Treatment exhibition backwater proposed process, pharmaceutical backwater conditions and facilities requires advanced treatment, and demonstrated the depth of processing backwater

Feasibility and economic rationality of technology.

7 beneficiation wastewater treatment process

7.1 copper concentrator mild wastewater treatment process

Copper ore beneficiation wastewater treatment process should be mildly meet the requirements of Figure 1.
